The City of New Westminster is seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor to build a waterfront urban park over top of a parkade slab at 600 Quayside Drive. This project demands a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with constructing on existing structures. We encourage submissions from contractors with a proven track record in delivering high-quality urban park spaces in similar settings, demonstrating expertise in integrating custom and pre-fabricated park elements while adhering to strict structural standards The successful Respondent shall procure the specified materials, equipment and features, and retain and coordinate the work of all necessary sub-contractors for the Project. The City desires to begin construction of Park C early March 2025 in anticipation of opening the park space to the public August 1, 2025. |
