The City of New Westminster Parks and Open Spaces Urban Forestry team is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide services for the collection of data on dead and dying trees on city-owned streets and boulevards, utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. The purpose of this project is to identify and record all locations of dead and dying trees on city streets and boulevards. The information will be used to update the City’s tree inventory and toward preparing a plan for removal and replacement of all, dead and dying street and boulevard trees under the City’s jurisdiction.
