The City of New Westminster’s Parks Department is seeking a General Contractor to renovate and seismically upgrade a former barn into a workshop and kitchen space for public use. The work will be completed in accordance with the “Issued for Building Permit” drawings as developed by a professional design consultant team. The City is targeting a construction start in late March 2026 with a completion in late June 2026.

Respondents should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with BCBC Part 3 buildings, specifically in wood frame structural upgrades, concrete removal/retrofit and electrical, plumbing and sprinkler retrofit. parkade restoration and similar repair scopes of work in large municipal or public facilities.
